gEconpy.solvers.gensys.interpret_gensys_output(eu)#

Interprets the output of the gensys function.

Gensys returns integer success codes like we’re FORTRAN programmers in 1980. This function converts these codes to human-readable messages that describe the existence and uniqueness of the solution.

Parameters:
eutuple of int
A tuple of two integers returned by the gensys function:
eu[0]int

Indicates existence of the solution.

eu[1]int

Indicates uniqueness of the solution.

Returns:
messagestr

A message describing the existence and uniqueness of the solution based on the values in eu.
